Referendum on abolishing the Greater London Assembly & Mayor of London position

Petition Details

We would like a referendum on abolishing the Greater London Assembly and Mayor of London, with powers redistributed to London Boroughs and national Government.

Additional Information

We think the Mayor and Greater London Assembly are destroying this great city, so we must abolish the Assembly and position of Mayor.
We think the post of the Mayor of London has no way of understanding the plight and needs of each individual Borough.
We think the crime rate in London is currently far too high.
