Students should study Mental/Educational/Emotional health and needs part of the National Curriculum
Students during personal development classes should be taught lessons helping them to understand the disabilities and health needs that are not visual. Such as learning difficulties (dyslexia), mental health issues (OCD, Depression) and Emotional difficulties (PTSD, Anxiety Disorders) alongside the normal curriculum of Sexual education and drug and alcohol awareness. This will hopefully reduce bullying and raise awareness helping to support people with these difficulties and also recognise those who have them.
