Call for a binding inquiry into grooming gangs, cover-ups, and systemic failings. Hold all accountable, regardless of race, religion, or role, from perpetrators to those who ignored evidence. Ensure enforceable outcomes and no immunity for evidence providers. Justice for victims is vital.
The refusal to hold a national inquiry into grooming gangs and cover-ups is a grave injustice to victims and erodes trust in institutions meant to protect the vulnerable. Rejecting an inquiry raises questions about the government’s commitment to justice. This is about ensuring such horrors never happen again. Failing to act disregards victims’ safety and dignity. We urge Parliament to reconsider, prioritize justice, transparency, and accountability—this is a moral imperative
