Petition to Ensure UK Council Elections are Held Regardless of Any Changes
What We Call For:
• The commitment to uphold the timing and integrity of local council elections.
• Recognition of the importance of restoring public trust in government through consistent, fair, and timely democratic processes.
We urge the UK government to respect the democratic rights of its citizens and ensure that council elections are held as scheduled. Delaying or canceling these elections would be a disservice to democracy, to the will of the people, and to the trust that is vital for the health of our democratic institutions.
