Petition Action

Please consider regulation and limiting of private social media companies.

Petition Details

Social media companies that fail to protect users, especially under 16's rom inaccurate and harmful content should be removed from app stores. Violent, sexual and inappropriate content, unless private, should be limited to a watershed.

Additional Information

Social media companies hold too much power and they have too much influence. They conflate freedom of speech with regulation. This is nothing to do with free speech, a private social media company is not a platform for free speech and never will be unless the owners relinquish ownership to the public.
