Ban artificial intelligence-produced imagery and art from being copyrighted

Petition Details

For many artists, graphic designers and animators out there, I feel the rise of artificial intelligence taking over their jobs has grown to be a major concern. I think the thought of copyrighting AI imagery is a ludicrous idea, since we think it could be stealing other copyrighted artwork.

Additional Information

As an artist, I have expressed a displeasure on how some of these so-called "artists" have been making use of artificial intelligence tools to produce an image from basic word prompts, taking and mashing up pre-existing images from other sources, including already copyrighted content as well as smaller artists who earn a living.
