Create a compensation scheme for businesses affected by rail strikes

Petition Details

We would like the government to do something concrete to stop rail strikes. They could create a compensation scheme for the businesses effected by strikes funded by the train companies and unions.

Additional Information

We think that the strikes can have an adverse effect on the economy of communities serviced by lines subject to regular strikes and they cannot be left until franchise renewal. The business communities do not wish for the travel disruption to continue into the summer months and beyond, whilst they are still trying to recover from COVID 19.
