Promote Greater Public Participation in Global Decisions
This is a call to global institutions and our local governments. It is time to open up processes for wider public consultation and direct involvement.
Examples
- Abolish homeless,
apply Magna Carta (clauses 1, 13, 39 and 40) to everyday life
More funding for preventing human trafficking
It's something I deeply care about since it directly shapes the world I have to live in. Our world is inter-connected now more than ever. However, there's a clear lack of representation and participation of us, everyday people, in large-scale decision-making processes. recent studies, such as those conducted by the Pew Research Centre, have consistently shown that the majority feel they have little to no say in what the government does.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
