Allow parents take children out of school out of half term up to 10days a year

Petition Details

Allow parents take kids out of school out of half term/summer holidays up to 10 days each year. Excluding times of child exams

Additional Information

Current law discriminates against:
-human right to family time
-families who are not wealthy
-neurodivergent children or children with disabilities
-families who have relatives in different countries
-families where working adult has fixed rota
It is felt that current law is more orientated to be new tax. We do undrestand education is important but so is family time.
