box junction/kings road/beaufort street/london sw3 - highways, RBC&K
The RBK&C are allowing the yellow road markings at this junction to wear off the road surface : to an extent that currently (October 2014), drivers are unaware this is a box junction - making the crossing, effectively, an accident Black Spot. The pedestrians are coming off worst. Please persuade (or enforce) the local authority and/or the dept. of transport to remedy this dangerous situation by reinstating the box junction here.
