Stop Excluding Names Starting with Q, U, X, Y, Z: Name a Storm After Them
I want the government to update the storm naming system to include names starting with Q, U, X, Y, and Z, ensuring all letters of the alphabet are represented in the naming process. This would promote fairness, inclusivity, and diversity in storm naming conventions.
Names starting with Q, U, X, Y, and Z are currently excluded, which feels unfair. Including them would make the process more balanced and ensure everyone feels represented. Updating the naming system to include all letters would show a commitment to fairness and equality, ensuring the process remains consistent.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about naming storms are a matter for the Met Office, not the UK Government or Parliament.
