Make parking free for students on university campus.
We call on Parliament to:
Require universities to offer free student parking.
Prevent institutions from increasing tuition to offset costs.
Eliminating parking fees would reduce financial stress and promote fairness in education. We urge action to support students
We urge the Government to require universities to provide free parking for students. Many rely on personal vehicles due to poor public transport, long commutes, or balancing work and studies. High parking fees add unnecessary financial strain on students already struggling with tuition and living costs.
Free parking would improve access to education, especially for low-income and disabled students. Expensive fees force students to park off-campus, causing safety concerns and delays.
