Change Free Childcare eligibility to parents combined income

Petition Details

Currently you can only get tax-free and free childcare if a single parent earns less than £100k taxable income. It should be household income.

Additional Information

It’s not exactly fair that two parents can earn £99k taxable income each, earning £198k and still get government support. But to the other extreme one parent earning £101k and the other on £20k does not
