Petition Action

Pulling out of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar

Additional Information

Pull out of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, because
1 it appears that Qatar is supporting financially the so-called Islamic State
2 it is reported that one of their stadiums was built at a cost of almost 1,000 lives. The workers are held as virtual slaves, with their passports taken from them
3 the process in which Qatar 'won the right' to host the tournament in 2010 is seriously suspect.

2022 is eight years away but if pressure is out in now FIFA will have to appoint another venue, perhaps England, who should have won the bid in the first place
