Petition Action

Stop processed foods being in school meals.

Petition Details

From our time at secondary school we have seen the meals provided in our canteen are mainly processed meats and have no restriction on how much you can buy. Foods like Fried Chicken, Burgers, French fries etc. We don't want to stop all processed foods but restrict and reduce the amount.

Additional Information

We want the Government to place more rules in place about the amounts and types of foods are selling to young naïve students. I want the government to protect the children of this country and improve their diets. Although things have improved since petitions like Jamie Oliver's have brought change and attention more change needs to be done. I and my team would like the government to pursue this problem more as the youth is the future.
