Reinstate the Riot Act
The Riot Act was in force from 1715 until 1973 and forbade any riotous assembly of 12 or more people. Our capital city is presently in the grip of hundreds of rioters and we have no Riot Act to read. I suggest that we reinstate it forthwith to give the authorities the necessary powers to order these lawless persons to disperse.
