Reassurance the UK Gov't will not mirror actions taken by US Gov't against EDI.
Cross party agreement in parliament that the actions taken by the Trump administration to cease Equality, Diversity and Inclusion activities by all federal government departments will not be mirrored by the UK Government or Parliament.
From the Home Office website:
When we’re making decisions, the Equality Act 2010 gives us a duty to take into account the need to:
eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation
advance equality of opportunity
foster good relations between different parts of the community.
