Tax Tower of London Poppy Profits

Additional Information

Only £8.75 of the £25 cost to buy one of the ceramic poppies on display at the Tower of London goes to helping our service personnel.

The rest goes toward profit for private equity investors.

If people genuinely want to donate to the services they would be better to just buy 25 paper poppies.

The government should take steps to prevent anyone profiting from the sacrifice of the war dead and tax the profiteers.
