Pay MPs a wage that reflects the average income of their constituents
Make MPs wages proportional to the average income of their individual constituency. i.e. an MP who represents an affluent constituency would be paid more than an MP representing a poorer constituency.
It might also make MPs focus more on the conditions of the people who live there rather than how likely they are to win the next election.
