Petition Action

Reform Car Insurance, Enforce Regulation, & Ease Young Drivers' Financial Burden

Petition Details

We urge Parliament to launch an independent inquiry into car insurance pricing and enforce strict regulatory reforms. Mandate transparent pricing, fair competition, and cap unreasonable premium increases—measures that will ease the financial burden on young drivers and protect consumers.

Additional Information

Car insurance premiums have surged to unsustainable levels, disproportionately burdening young drivers with limited incomes and high expenses. Many must choose between essential bills and adequate coverage, undermining road safety and financial stability. Opaque pricing practices allow insurers to profit at consumers’ expense. Government intervention is urgently needed to restore fairness, protect vulnerable motorists, and ensure insurance remains affordable for all. This reform helps all drivers
