Petition Details

We urge the government to issue a firm statement that reaffirms Canada’s sovereignty, condemns any suggestion of annexation, and commits to engage with allies to ensure its territorial integrity is upheld. We think the UK must be prepared to take diplomatic or economic measures if necessary.

Additional Information

We believe that any attempt to undermine the sovereignty of Canada, as our close ally and Commonwealth partner, is unacceptable. We think the UK has a responsibility to defend self-determination and global stability, and that failure to act could embolden future aggression, making a strong response essential.
