Hold politicians personally accountable for breaking manefesto or party pledges.
The voting public are fed up of being misled during election campaingns and by policians in office at any level. Politicians are free to deliberately lie to, or mislead, the voting public in order to gain or retain office, without fear of recrimination. They should be held legally accountable.
Politicians are free to break any promise or statement made regarding their intentions or their policies, without any accountability. This is at best deceit, at worst, fraud. They should be held personally accountable through the courts for these deceptions. Lying or misleading the public in order to gain office is deception, and laws should be passed to hold individual politicians guilty of political deception.
