Unfair and unjust new nationality policy!
We request the government to reconsider the policy. The nationality should be based on the positive contribution to the society rather than a singular act of illegally entering the UK.
We believe that the new laws for citizenship from 10 February 2025 will forever lock out people from gaining citizenship rights! This is unfair, unjust and disproportionate and in direct contravention of the Geneva convention when it comes to the rights of the refugees. This policy is further in contravention of the principles of natural justice.
