Allow Skilled and Healthcare Worker visa holders to work extra hours in any job.
We call on the UK government and Parliament to allow Skilled and Healthcare Worker visa holders to work 20 extra hours per week in any job, not just roles on the Skilled Occupation List. This change will ease financial stress, support families, fill labour shortages, and boost the UK economy.
We urge the UK government and Parliament to allow Skilled Worker and Healthcare Worker visa holders to work 20 extra hours per week in any job, not just those on the Occupation List. This change will ease financial burdens, support families, address labour shortages, and boost the UK economy. Enabling these workers to earn extra income will promote fairness and career development, ensuring every worker is given equal opportunities to contribute fully to society and thrive in a competitive market.
