Allow employees to claim tax relief for private medical treatment

Petition Details

We would like the Government to make private medical treatment an expense that employees can claim tax relief for. We believe this would enhance workplace productivity and help ease pressure on the NHS.

Additional Information

The NHS is under strain. We believe that employees with the option to pay for medical treatment might be more inclined to do so if the costs were tax-exempt.
