Animal abuse, animal cruelty should lead to imprisonment.
Anyone convicted of abuse, cruelty or death of an animal should automatically be given a prison sentence and not just a slap on the wrist.
The government need to take a long hard look at what's happening here in the UK regarding animal welfare.
We are supposed to be a nation of animal lovers, yet the cruelty, the abuse being used by some police forces, the abhorrent conditions some ( Seized dogs are being kept it),the lenient court judgments being handed out to perpetrators of animal abuse is nothing short of a farce.
Where's the deterrent?
Where's the justice?
Where's your backbone?
