Rewrite the exclusion policies of what qualifies as an exclusion in UK schools
I would like Parliament to discuss and hopefully rewrite exclusion policies of what qualifies as an exclusion in UK schools in the department of education by this petition.
School exclusions are a direct violation of the right of education by the universal declaration of human rights. Excluding a child/teen from school removes them from education. What this petition aims to do is to help children and or teens who struggle in education and to help them build a sustainable and better future of the next generation.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
The Department for Education has published guidance on exclusions and suspensions for suspensions: www.gov.uk/government/publications/school-exclusion
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do for example reviewing the Department for Education’s guidance.
