Petition Details

Introduce a tax relief for Blue Light workers taking on extra shifts or working second jobs to ensure fair compensation. I think that high tax rates reduce earnings and discourage extra work.

Additional Information

Due to high tax rates on additional income, I think our earnings are significantly reduced, leaving us inadvertently financially penalised for working extra hours. I believe this discourages essential workers from taking on vital shifts, particularly at a time when our critical public services are under immense pressure. Tax relief could provide fair compensation for our hard work and dedication.
