Prison Terms For Fraudulent Bankers

Additional Information

Banks continue to disregard industry regulations and operate fraudulently causing harm both to the global economy and the general population.

Up until now, errant banks have been punished for these offences by monetary fines, which have *not* been an effective deterrent (only this week we have another £2 billion scandal - see http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-30017465).

The only way to deter future illegal activity and to restore the public's faith in both the justice and banking systems is for the guilty parties to receive appropriate prison terms.
