All national team matches (Eng. Scot. Wales, N.I) - of major sports, must be shown live on free to air terrestial television

Additional Information

In recent years cable and satellite broadcasters have outbid terrestial broadcasters to show national and international team matches of major sports, cricket, football, rugby union and league and tennis (Wimbeldon). Many of these companies are foreign owned and pay few UK taxes.
UK Vat and income tax payers should have a legal right to view such matches live, without having to subscribe to see them, or they should be available on the Internet live for free.
The BBC claimed it could not afford to compete with rising fees, yet we now discover they paid over £2m extra in redundancies and pensions to executives, and massive £1m + fees to "celebrity" presenters money that could have won them cricket and rugby match broadcasts.
