Captain Eric Melrose (Winkle) Brown) RN CBE DSC AFC KCVSA PhD Hon FRAeS was an extraordinary Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Test Pilot . He has contributed more aeronautical testing and evaluation data than any other test pilot in history for the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm, Royal Air Force and civilian aviation.To read of his many experiences is like tracing modern history both in the aviation world and the diplomatic one. His exploits are legendary and will live forever in the annals of aviation.Please support this petition.for a knighthood.to be awarded to Captain Eric Brown.
