Myalgic Encephalitis (M.E) / Chronic Fatigue is aa disease that is very debilitating. Despite the fact that the Department of Health now accepts ME/CFS as a genuine medical condition, P.I.P assessments are rarely awarded. This needs to be reviewed urgently. Sufferers of M.E/Chronic Fatigue face difficult challenges daily due to the symptoms. Personal Independence Payment (PIP) helps with some of the extra costs caused by long-term ill-health or a disability if you’re aged 16 to 64.
