Overturn the Order of 1290 expelling Jewish people from England.
Edward I's order commanding the expulsion of Jewish people from England is still law in this country. It is a shameful oversight that it has never been revoked - it needs overturning immediately
As a country which professes to allow all faiths and races to live here peacably, the fact that this law is still part of the English legal system is a disgrace which needs changing. We cannot see into the future - this could easily be re-enacted by an extremist government if it remains on the statute book.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Edward I's 1290 edict expelling Jews from England is not still considered law in the UK.
