Maximum Price to be set on Motor Insurance to disallow high prices being charged

Petition Details

The Government should implement laws to prevent insurance companies from charging extremely high prices for insurance on vehicles like cars especially on younger drivers.

Additional Information

This will prevent insurance companies from charging extortionate prices and discriminating people depending on where they live, what their gender is, and how old they are. New drivers spend on average £25 - 30 per hour on lessons and need around 45 hours to pass their test. Even after spending this much money they are unable to drive after passing as they cannot afford insurance.
