Pay all pensioners at the rate of the new state pension. End the widening payment gap based on age. Age discrimination is illegal and immoral.
MPs need to challenge this unfair and discriminatory policy in Parliament. Older pensioners have the same bills to pay as younger pensioners
Under The Equality Act of 2010, age is a protected characteristic.
The Public Sector Equality Duty requires public bodies to eliminate all discrimination
The two rates at which pensioners are paid
Produces an age pay gap, unfairly activated by a pensioners date of birth
This is age discrimination and should be challenged
British pensioners have one of the lowest pensions in Europe and deserve for ALL to receive the higher rate of the New State Pension so they can live with more dignity
