Petition Action

Upon Her Majesty's death, or abdiction, the UK should install an elected regent until Prince William, Duke of Cambridge wishes to succeed.

Additional Information

I believe the succession of Charles, Prince of Wales to the British throne would have a devistatingly negative effect upon the UK, the UK's place in the world and to the monarchy itself.

Therefore, upon the death, or abdication, of Her Majesty I propose that the UK installs an elected regent to the position of Head of State, until such time that Prince William, Duke of Cambridge wishes to succeed.

This would be a highly beneficial, and positive, act for the UK and would ensure ongoing popular support for the monarchy for the forseable future.
