Lift all sanctions currently imposed on Syria and reopen Syrian embassy in UK
The ongoing sanctions are having a devastating impact on the Syrian population, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and hindering access to essential goods and services, including food, medicine, and reconstruction materials.
The continued closure of the Syrian embassy in the UK presents a significant barrier to communication and consular services for Syrian nationals residing in the UK. This closure complicates essential tasks such as renewing passports, obtaining visas, and accessing legal assistance.
Lifting sanctions and reopening the embassy would be significant steps towards alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people and fostering better communication and understanding.
