Visual labelling on all food items which are halal for a customer.
To make all food items, purchased from all outlets, visually label foods which contain halal products. This includes restaurants/ fast food outlets/ pre packaged meals. Also any food item that is halal such as gelatine, blood products and any other associated by products.
People have the choice to choose what they want to eat. I believe this choice is taken away because food items are not clear on how animals are slaughtered. Non-stun slaughter of animals has been discussed at length thought out Europe, with some counties discussing banning the practice as they feel it is barbaric due to animals suffering unnecessary.
The UK government will not ban the practice , therefore it is fitting that labelling be considered for personal choice.
