Ban prisoners and violent ex-convicts working in slaughterhouses

Petition Details

We are concerned about the psychological impact, and desensitisation through routine animal killing; as well as employment practices where prisoners can receive less than the minimum wage.

Additional Information

We don't think prisoners should kill as part of a profit-making business, nor should violent offenders be placed in roles that normalise bloodshed. We believe that true rehabilitation comes from education and reintegration.
