Petition Action

F1 and the loss of terrestial based UK coverage.

Additional Information

I find it abhorrent that we will be expected to pay Sky Television in order to watch full coverage of all rounds of the 2012 Formula One World Championship.

This is clearly aimed at a sizeable public who do not have access to Sky Television and do not see the point in gaining access to it other than to watch our favourite sport.

I see that we are not going to be cutting back on the coverage of Wimbledon, which will undoubtedly gain at the expense of F1 coverage.

I therefore propose that a new way of funding the Motor Racing coverage on the BBC is found, or alternatively that it reverts to ITV or 5.
