Increasing number of individuals making a false domestic violence claims to obtain indefinite leave to remain (ILR).
Current system is being misused, undermining both the integrity of immigration policies and the experiences of real victims.
loopholes are being used to claim DV claims
Impact on citizens falsely accused of DV. Stigma, financial loss, emotional distress, irreparable damage to their personal and professional lives. Current system lacks fairness, accountability, and integrity
