Call for the UK to Withdraw from the 1951 Refugee Convention

Petition Details

We, the undersigned, call on the UK Government to withdraw from the 1951 Refugee Convention and its 1967 Protocol. We think the current asylum system is outdated and no longer fits the challenges our country faces today.

Additional Information

We think the increasing numbers of asylum seekers are placing immense pressure on the NHS housing, education, and other vital public services. We think British citizens are struggling to access basic services and affordable housing. We think it is time for the UK to regain full control of its borders and immigration policies to ensure a fair and sustainable future for all.
