Regulate the Veterinary Industry under Government control, it’s like a lottery.
I want it to be standardised across the country, people will do anything for their pets, but the costs are at the mercy of a Vet, the difference could be hundreds of pounds. I’ve experienced a doubling of my dogs insurance, from just over £200 to over £500, on what could happen years down the line.
I just want justice for the public, who I know are being ripped off, I have just experienced their inept and random costing, l went to a Veterinary Surgery after 7.00 pm, and was charged £285, for a five minute appointment, never gave us a definitive diagnosis, yet when it came to Esta’s renewal cover, it more than doubled, and when phoned the insurance Argos, I was told anything reported by a vet stays on record, and we charge whatever we want for what could happen in the future?
