Fortify our Democratic Safeguards
Grant the Electoral Commission temporary blocking authority for potentially harmful election-related legislation to protect the electoral process. Require blocked changes to pass a free vote, with a supermajority, in the House of Commons to ensure thorough scrutiny and safeguard democracy.
Enabling the Electoral Commission and other relevant commissions to temporarily block election-related legislation or policies that could seriously harm or disrupt the electoral process, and requiring these blocked changes to pass a free vote (where MPs vote according to their conscience) with a two-thirds majority, will ensure strict scrutiny and prevent harmful changes from taking effect, thereby safeguarding democracy.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call for a clear action. We are not sure what you mean by "election-related legislation or policies that could seriously harm or disrupt the electoral process". You could start a new petition setting out clearly what you mean by this.
