Make glasses VAT exempt due to wearer’s having no choice but to wear glasses

Petition Details

Create a VAT exemption for glasses. For example I have vary focal that without I would not be able to work drive and have a normal life.

Additional Information

To reduce cost of glasses which we think would help with the high costs of complex lenses We think the present exemption for services is not helping the majority of glass wearers. We think it seems strange the test is vat exempt but the resultant glasses are not treated the same.
