Halloween should be a public holiday

There is no public holiday between August and December in the UK, resulting in an extended period of 5 day weeks and consequent poor mood. Halloween offers an excellent opportunity for promotion to a public holiday, with established commercialism, historic cultural significance, and importance to the ancient traditions and religions in the UK.

Halloween should be made a public holiday!
