Petition Action

Debate Article 8 of the UN's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

Petition Details

A huge proportion of the UK population believe that the country is being ethnically cleansed, through mass immigration. In the 2021 census 16% of the population was born abroad. 2024 saw 1.2 Million people immigrate to the UK. This is unsustainable and incompatible with British values.

Additional Information

1. Indigenous peoples and individuals have the
right not to be subjected to forced assimilation
or destruction of their culture.
2. States shall provide effective mechanisms for
prevention of, and redress for:
(a) Any action which has the aim or effect of
depriving them of their integrity as distinct
peoples, or of their cultural values or ethnic
identities;
(d) Any form of forced assimilation or integration;
The UK is a Christian country and we are suppressed by two tier justice.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly about the specific action you would like the Government or Parliament to carry out.

Additionally, we are unable to accept petitions that include accusations of wrongdoing, such as ethnic cleansing, against an identifiable government.

You may wish to sign this petition which calls for a similar action: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/700824
