Require local authorities to fast track the application process for Blue Badges for children diagnosed with cancer and other serious illnesses. Consider allowing medical professionals to confirm eligibility so that families could receive temporary or emergency badges without delays.

Additional Information

We believe delays in getting a Blue Badge application approved is leaving families with seriously ill children struggling to access hospital care and parking. In our view, this is not just an admin issue, it directly impacts quality of life & dignity of seriously ill children & their families. A fast track system would offer immediate, practical support when its is most needed.
