Petition Details

Call upon the National Health Service (NHS) to introduce routine screening for Cytomegalovirus (CMV) in all pregnant women, in order to prevent the risks and potential long-term effects of congenital CMV infection.

Additional Information

introducing routine CMV screening, could:

Increase Early Detection: Early identification of CMV infections could allow pregnant women to take preventive measures,
Reduce the Risk of Severe Outcomes
Raise Awareness
Improve Public Health:
