Increase NHS funding for women’s health including hubs and access to care
We urge the UK Government to increase funding for Women’s Health Hubs and access to menopause, fertility, and reproductive care. We think every woman deserves fair, informed, and accessible support.
We feel a lack of funding puts woman’s future at risk, especially for those who can’t afford to go private. Unmanaged symptoms may lead to chronic illness, mental health decline, and women leaving work. The UK loses an estimated £11B+ a year to due to absence for severe period pain and heavy periods as well as endometriosis, fibroids and ovarian cysts, yet a pledge to establish a Women’s health hub in every area has been scrapped. We think it’s not just a health gap - it’s a national emergency. We can't afford to ignore it.
